Over 100,000 visitors and a trade volume surpassing the $450 million target Celebrating its 20th edition, IDEX Istanbul International Dental Fair and Conference concluded with record-breaking attendance and trade volume. Held at the Istanbul Expo Center, the event reaffirmed its position as world’s second-largest dental fair and Turkey’s leading specialized fair in attracting international visitors. With more than 700 local and international companies showcasing the latest technologies in oral and dental health, IDEX welcomed over 100,000 visitors, including nearly 30,000 international professionals from more than 100 countries. The fair exceeded its ambitious target of a $450 million trade volume, proving its vital role in global dental industry networking and commerce. Turkish Dental Industry Marches Toward $1 Billion Export Goal Erkan Uçar, Chairman of the Board of DİŞSİAD, commented at the fair’s conclusion: “This year, IDEX surpassed all expectations in terms of both exhibitor participation and international interest. We have already exceeded last year’s $350 million trade volume. With the collaborations and business deals made during the fair, we are proud to have surpassed our $450 million goal. We are confidently moving towards our $1 billion export target within the next five years.” Historic Dental Clinic Draws Intense Interest One of the highlights of the fair was the historic dental clinic of Dr. Nidai Ergun, a retired Senior Colonel and dentist from the Gülhane Military Medical Academy, showcased by the Dental Health Museum. The 57-year-old clinic, which operated between 1968 and 1995 and once treated prominent figures such as journalist Uğur Mumcu, as well as Turkish and foreign diplomats, attracted great attention from both local and international visitors. Countdown to IDEX 2026 Begins Organized by Winnow Fuarcılık with the support of DİŞSİAD, the fair continues to contribute to the growth of both the dental industry and the Turkish economy.
